FALL MEDIATOR TRAINING: TWO WEEKENDS Oct. 16-18 & Oct. 30-Nov 1, 2009
Learn the basics of mediation through lecture, role plays, skill practice, and videos.  State approved training to become either a General Civil and Private Practice Mediator or a volunteer community Mediator.  Approved by the State Court Administrative Office.

ADVANCED MEDIATION TRAINING: FULL DAY September 24, 2009
This training will address the unique circumstances LGBT couples encounter in coping with separation and parenting issues, as well as concentrating on the difficulties mediators will encounter while working with this demographic of society.

BROWN BAG LUNCH SERIES FOR MEDIATORS
We are announcing the dates and theme for the 2009-2010 Brown Bag Lunch Series.  The theme is Building Peaceful Community.  We will kick off the series with an Opening Workshop on Saturday, October 10th from 8:30 to noon.  The next Brown Bags are on the first Wednesday of the month November-June (except January, when it is the second Wednesday).  The topics will include handling difficult emotions in mediation and bankruptcy, among others.
